Juan Son is one of the most important Latin Indie singer and composer in the alternative scene in Mexico. Is an independent artist who has been identified by his talent and authenticity, starting his career in music since 2002, passing through important stages in Mexico, LATAM & Europe. Singer and composer of the lyrics of the Mexican alternative rock band, Porter, until his departure, when he decided to move to New York to start new projects with Simone Pace of BLONDE REDHEAD. Together they created A,E,I,O,U, where Amedeo Pace and Kim Deal from “The Breeders” collaborated. Continuing his career as a soloist, in 2018 he presented the acclaimed album “MERMAID SASHIMI” signed by Universal Music, obtaining with it the Latin Grammy nomination with the song “NADA”.
