A reading from the book will be followed by a panel discussion including expert historians, reporters, Phoenix police and the guy who bought and restored the murder house. Books will be available to purchase and be signed.

Laurie Notaro

Laurie Notaro is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the novels Crossing the Horizon, Spooky Little Girl, and There’s a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell, as well as essay collections and numerous works of celebrated nonfiction including The Idiot Girls’ Action-Adventure Club: True Tales from a Magnificent and Clumsy Life and Excuse Me While I Disappear: Tales of Midlife Mayhem. A finalist for the Thurber Prize, Laurie was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she was a reporter for The Arizona Republic and lived several streets away from the murder house. She now resides in Eugene, Oregon.
